Jiangxi Provincial Museum

Description

This museum consists of three parts of the historic museum, a revolutionary museum, and a natural museum, which is first seen in the country. It situates on a new sand bar that is rounded by the Gan River and Fu River, it lies east to Fu River, south to Zhongshan Bridge, west to Gan River and north to Tengwang Pavilion, which is one of the three famous buildings to the south of the Yangze River.

The principal part of the building is referred to modeling of white glazed porcelain with three tubes of Ming Dynasty made in Jingdezhen, the ancient ceramics art and modern construction style is skillfully melt in the building and the three parts as historical museum, revolutionary museum and natural museum are united as one whole, which looks solemn, elegant and unique. A big bronze sculpture of "time and space" aloft in the center square which has four component part: three imitated bronze overhead handles, imitated bronze Yan withstand deer design and four legs, a bronze tiger with two tails and a reclining bird on its back and torch. It means that the brilliant civilization goes back to ancient times, the rich natural resources and galaxy of talent, a single spark can start a prairie fire.
