Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1949. She is the only art academy in the northwest, whose forerunner is the Art College in Northwest Army & Government University.

Tian Bao Outreach Ceramics Teaching Center was originally a traditional ceramic factory to produce coil built water jars and slab built roof tiles for domestic uses. Now the owner, Mr. Jin is operating this site for local students and artists as an offsite training by using local stoneware body of the
Tian Bao Clay that directly dug up from the rice fields around the Tian Bao Dragon Kiln. It fires to a dark, rich, earthy color the Dragon Wood Kiln that only fires twice a year.
Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute is one of the thirty-one national universities which has the authority to offer art bachelor degrees and is one of the ninety-four universities that has the authority to offer Chinese Government scholarship to international masters and bachelors. Based on the school of ceramics founded in 1909, the institute was reconstructed and renamed in 1958.
The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, established by Government Ordinance in 1984, is one of the leading institutes of higher arts education in Asia. It provides professional education, training and research facilities in the performing arts, theatre and entertainment arts, film and television. China Academy of Art: Xiangshan Central Campus is one of the most beautiful art school in China. The Xiangshan Campus (located in the outskirts of Hangzhou) is comprised of four schools (School of Design, School of Architecture, Public Art Institute, Media and Animation Institute) spread across 21 buildings. Contrary to the norm of siting new campus buildings within university towns built by the state, the Academy decided to locate this new campus on the eastern edge of the southern ridges of Hangzhou.
The China Academy of Art has the most complete range of degree offerings and programs of study in fine arts in China. There are eight schools under its jurisdiction offering Ph.D., master’s and bachelor’s degrees in fine arts, design, architecture, multimedia, and film.
The Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University is authorized to award master’s and doctoral degrees in Theory of Arts and Design and Theory of Arts, with a postdoctoral specialty in Theory of Art. Since China embarked on its reform and opening policy, faculty and students at the Academy has achieved remarkable achievements in major art design activities both at home and abroad and successfully completed over 200 national and international major art design projects, winning more than 300 domestic and international awards.
